Adjective Phrases
An adjective phrase is a group of words that together describe a noun or pronoun. The phrase contains an adjective as its main word, plus any modifiers.
- Example:
- The man full of energy won the race.
(Here, “full of energy” is the adjective phrase describing “man.”) - She wore a dress covered in sequins.
- We stayed in a hotel very close to the beach.
