A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun to avoid repetition and make sentences clearer and smoother. Pronouns refer to people, things, or ideas without naming them directly.
Types of Pronouns with Examples
- Personal Pronouns: Refer to specific persons or things.
Examples: I, you, he, she, it, we, they- She is a teacher.
- They are coming to the party.
- Possessive Pronouns: Show ownership.
Examples: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs- This book is mine.
