Achievements of the League of Nations

Settled minor disputes: Successfully resolved border disputes such as between Sweden and Finland (1921), and Greece and Bulgaria (1925).

Humanitarian efforts: Fought against slavery and human trafficking, and improved working conditions through the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Health improvements: Reduced the spread of diseases by establishing the Health Organization, a predecessor to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Refugee support: Helped repatriate and resettle prisoners of war and refugees after World War I.

Disarmament talks: Promoted the idea of disarmament, although with limited success.

Economic and social cooperation: Assisted in stabilising economies, such as Austria and Hungary in the 1920s.
